In Team Q the hours depends on the volunteer role you apply for. As a Tenter you will be required to 32 hours taking place during the entire festival period. As a Camping Host and Supervisor you will be required to 24 hours during Wednesday to Saturday.

People is Roskilde Festival's volunteer registration, and this is where you will be awarded your wristband. All of the festival's 30,000 volunteers must have a profile, so if you do not have one already, please create one at People, Become a Volunteer. You must have a People profile before we can approve your application at Team Q.

You will receive your wristband at the association's check-in, where you must present your personal check-in card and photo ID. Shortly before the festival, your check-in card will appear on the front page of your People profil..

You must always meet at our white tent in camping area Q. It is located by the office trailer and reception right at the entrance to Q. Always meet 5 minutes before your shift so we can greet each other beforehand.

As a volunteer, you get free access to:

• Volunteers’ Village with coffee/tea and juice in green surroundings. Here you can take a well-deserved break with other volunteers in the volunteer bar. In addition, there are various activities every day such as yoga, music quizzes and massage.
• Volunteer Hubs with lounge areas, free hot baths and coffee/tea. They are located in Camping West, Camping East and Central.
• Volunteer Camping where you can spend the night with your friends who are also volunteers. Here you will get a good night's sleep and free hot baths. Remember that this requires registration prior to the festival.
• Possibility to drive freely around at the festival site with shuttle buses.

If you miss one or more of your shifts without a valid reason and without an agreement with us, Roskilde Festival will confiscate your wristband and may charge a fee of DKK 4,500. You will also be deprived of the opportunity to volunteer for the next three years at the entire festival.

You can cancel your registration up until the week before the festival begins by contacting us at [email protected]. If you cancel your registration later than that, you are expected to find a replacement for your shifts yourself and inform us of the changes.
